Stephanie Charbonneau - Choirs, Music Together, Piano & Voice
Stephanie is the Artistic Director and founder of Cappella Choirs.  She currently directs the Arioso and Prestant Choirs, the Enchante touring ensemble, Kids Choir Club and is a certified instructor of Music Together®.  Stephanie oversees the management of the choirs, tours and the Fort Worden Festival.    She earned her Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from Pacific Lutheran University in 2002.  Stephanie began studying piano at the age of 3 and now has over 16 years teaching experience.  In addition to her work with Cappella, Stephanie is the Associate for Children's Choirs at First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue where she directs a 65-voice youth chorus and accompanies a treble choir.  Stephanie is an active member of the American Choral Directors Association and the Washington State Music Teachers Association.  Stephanie is a 2007 graduate of Leadership Kitsap.

Donald Stojack - Choirs, Piano, Clarinet and Alto Saxophone
Donald is the founding director of the Prestant Boys Chorus.  He currently is the accompanist for the Arioso/Prestant Choirs and the Enchante Tour Ensemble. He teaches music history and theory, and helps manage the logistics of choir concerts, camps, and tours.  Donald has 31 yeas of experience as a professional musician, choir director, and music teacher.  He graduated in 1982 from Pacific Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance.   At the Cappella Choirs Music Center, Donald teaches piano, clarinet and alto saxophone lessons and is the Building Manager.  In addition to his work with Cappella, Donald is the accompanist for the Good News Group children's choir and Summer Choir Director at First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue.  Donald is an active member of the American Choral Directors Association and the Washington State Music Teachers Association. Donald is also active in building, restoring and relocating pipe organs in association with Frans Bosman of Mosier, Oregon.

Alicia Lundberg - Choirs
Alicia is excited and proud to join the fine staff at the Cappella Music Center as director of the Bel Canto and Regazzi choirs.  Alicia began singing in the Alaska Children’s Choir at the age of six and performed in some of the nation’s finest performance venues as the youngest-ever member of the ACC Touring Choir.  As a passionate musician, Alicia has studied voice and piano for over 20 years. 

In 1998, Alicia began attending the University of Puget Sound, where she earned her Bachelor of Music and Master of Arts in Teaching degrees in 2002 and 2003 and solidified music’s central role in her life.  Directly after completing her Masters thesis, Teaching Music Through Critical and Creative Thinking, Alicia began her teaching career at Central Kitsap High School.  Currently in her fifth year of teaching, she is an active member of the Music Educators National Conference, the American Choral Directors Association, and is President of the Olympic Music Educators Association and continues to love teaching three choirs, guitar, music theory, piano, and composition. 

A gifted vocalist, Alicia sings jazz, classical, and musical theater and has performed many solo recitals, sung with jazz greats Duffy Jackson and Jay Leonhart, and soloed with the Doo-Wop legends The Temptations.  Additionally, Alicia has performed lead roles in Bye Bye Birdie, Gilbert and Sullivan’s Trial By Jury, and Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods, among other fine musical theater productions.

Kathyanne Baumgardner - Music Together®
Kathyanne grew up in a musical family in Northern California and began performing at the ripe old age of  three. She now has over 40 years of community and professional choral experience including a Grammy nomination in 1983 with the L.A. Jazz choir.

She received her A.A. in Music Education from DeAnza Jr.College (CA)  and her B.A. in Music Ed from San Diego State (CA) where she obtained lead roles in their musical theater productions and light opera.

Kathyanne is currently a member of the Music Teachers National Association and an active member of the American Choral Directors Association. She has taught Private voice for over 15 years  and is currently teaching out of her home. She has loved singing all over the state with her Community choir “Breath of Aire” based in Kent, WA

One of her greatest joys is handing the musical baton on to the next generation of singers!

Kathyanne has been married to her husband David for over 22 years and has 4 children.

Anne Rose Bergsma - Voice
Anne, soprano, received her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Voice Performance from the University of Washington in Seattle. Operatic roles she has performed include Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Susanna in Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro, Esmerelda in Smetana’s The Bartered Bride, Rowan in Britten’s The Little Sweep and others. She specializes in Baroque and 20th century music. She has taught at various colleges around the region and maintains teaching studios both in Seattle and Kitsap County, as well as an active performing career.

Rob Stuvland - Drums/Percussion & Jazz Band
Rob has a Bachelor of Arts in Degree in Music Education from Central Washington University with additional study at the University of Washington. He has worked for the South Kitsap School District for 34 years.  From 1975 to 1992, Rob directed the band program at South Kitsap High School and currently works as a band instructor in the elementary schools (Olalla, Manchester, Burley-Glenwood and Orchard Heights).   As a professional musician, Rob has many years of experience performing with regional big band and jazz ensembles.  Rob works with the Johnny Lewis Entertainment Corporation and is often called upon to adjudicate at solo and ensemble contests.   

Chris Woods - Guitar (acoustic, electric, bass, ukulele)
Christopher B. Woods has 13 years of playing experience that includes two years with the Gray's Harbor College Jazz Band, and studio work at the Seattle Art Institute and Western Washington University recording facilities. Recently, Chris has played lead guitar in The Super Geek League, and presently with an up-and-coming original rock trio. With a style that is wholly educational, Chris looks forward with a smile toward potential musicians, and dedicates himself seriously to their gains and education.

Jon Graber - Strings (violin, viola, cello)
Jonathan Graber, violinist and violist, has appeared as soloist, recitalist, and concertmaster throughout the country.  Locally,  he serves as Music Director of the Vashon-Maury Chamber Orchestra and Concertmaster of the Gig Harbor Peninsula Symphony Orchestra.  This past season he was also a guest Concertmaster for the Olympia Symphony and the Rainier Symphony.

A devotee of contemporary music, he has premiered chamber works of Cage, Carter, and William O. Smith.  His conducting appointments have included those with the Allegheny College Civic Symphony and the Bellevue-Eastside Youth Symphony.  He has also served as guest conductor with the Lake Erie Ballet Orchestra and the Warren (PA) Civic Orchestra.

Jon has taught at Allegheny College, Dickinson College, and Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.  Jon enjoys working with youth in the form of coach, including work with the Bellevue-Eastside, Cascade, and Seattle youth symphony programs.  He holds a Master of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Washington.

Charles Robert Stephens - Voice
Charles Robert Stephens, baritone, began his career in Boston where he sang,  toured and recorded with the Boston Camerata, and was a soloist in historic King's Chapel.  In 1983 he moved to New York City, where over the course of 20 years he sang leading roles at New York City Opera, Carnegie Hall and in regional opera houses across the United States and around the world. After his 2001 appearance as Germont in La Traviata with the Tacoma Opera, Mr. Stephens moved his family from midtown Manhattan to Fox Island, Washington.  Since then he continues to sing in New York in various venues including two TV appearances with renowned operatic diva Regina Resnik, two performances at the Spoletto Festival as soloist with the Westminster Choir , appearances  with the Portland Baroque Orchestra and the Portland Chamber Orchestra, and  with many of the leading orchestras, opera companies and music festivals  throughout the US. Mr. Stephens serves on the voice faculty at Portland  State University and is soloist at Seattle's Plymouth Church.

Bill O'Rourke - Voice
As a professional soloist, choral singer and teacher for more than thirty-five years,  Mr.O'Rourke has developed a way to teach that is fun and exciting.  Equally comfortable with the beginning voice student as well as the most advanced singers,  you can be assured that close attention will be paid to the needs of each individual student.  

Having performed at New York's Carnegie Hall as a member of the American Youth Performs Chorus at the age of thirteen,  Mr. O'Rourke was a sought after church and synagogue soloist throughout his early years as a singer.  Studying at Hofstra University on Long Island, New York,  Mr. O'Rourke studied for four years under Operatic Bass-Baritone, Herbert Beattie.  Comfortable in styles from Opera to Country, Mr. O'Rourke has performed in over one-thousand concerts and has sung a wide variety of music.  Having sung at St.Patrick's Cathedral,  St. Thomas's Church and Riverside Church in New York City, Mr. O'Rourke is highly experienced in singing music of the church.  Having been a long time member of  "The Bach Choir of Bethlehem" in Pennsylvania,  a renowned and recorded choir,  Mr. O'Rourke is an expert on the performance of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach and he has performed with several choirs while touring throughout Europe.

As a founding member of "The Summer Harmony" chorus in Allentown, PA,  Mr.O'Rourke has performed just about every other style of music that you can think of.  Having appeared as a back up singer for Andy Williams and the Cheiftains at the State Theater in Easton, PA,  There is very little that Mr. O'Rourke is not musically familiar with.

Currently the Director of both the Vocal and Bell choirs at Elim Lutheran Church, Port Orchard,  Mr.O'Rourke is active in our area as a church musician and vocal soloist. Trained as a classical tenor,  a wide vocal range makes him an excellent choice as a teacher for students of all voice ranges

Rebecca Elizabeth Lujan - Voice
Rebecca Elizabeth Lujan started vocal study during her high school years with Joy Dunning of Port Orchard.  At Olympic College, Rebecca studied voice with Susan Trainer, graduating with an  Associates of Arts & Sciences degree. At the University of Washington she studied voice with Tom Harper, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology.

At South Kitsap High School, she participated in the musicals-"The Secret Garden" and "Guys & Dolls."  During her junior year, she sang with Concert Choir.  In her senior year, Rebecca sang with both the highly acclaim Highlighters and Chamber Choir and spent the year competing with the groups at numerous festivals and competitions.  That year, Highlighters won the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival.  Independently, she auditioned and made the All Northwest Treble Choir.  The summer after graduation, she went with the Highlighters and Chamber Choir on a European tour.  Their last stop was a performance at the Montreaux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.

At Olympic College, she sang with Concert Choir and Vocal Jazz Ensemble II.   For  2 years she traveled with Jazzline and Chamber Choir to numerous festivals and competitions as well.  They also sang on a cruise ship to the Bahamas.  During her last year at Olympic College, they traveled to Thailand where they performed at the King's University-Mahidol University-with other Thai choir students. Her last year at Olympic College was also spent preparing a final recital with fellow soprano, Valerie Freese.   During her years at Olympic College and University of Washington, she also started singing for weddings with accompanist Nils Thompson.  For duets, she would also sing with her brother, Zachary Lujan.

Rebecca has also been a member of  the Port Orchard Community Chorale in addition to solo appearances with Cappella  Choirs.
