Private lessons give students the opportunity to enjoy one-on-one instruction with the flexibility of individualized scheduling. The study of a musical instrument by school age youth improves academic performance and self esteem. Scientific research has shown a link to students who study musical instruments and higher college enrollment and placement. The study of a musical instrument also demonstrates academic versatility, which will be recognized when applying for college.

Whether you are a beginning student with no previous experience, an advanced student wanting to polish your skills, or a serious highschooler ready to focus on preparing to major in music at college, our instructors can help you achieve your musical goals. Advanced students may also specifically request training in the areas of repertoire, music history, technique, ear training, sight reading, and/or accompanying to prepare for further study.

We try to work around your schedule to find lessons times most convenient for your family. With multiple teachers offering lessons at the same time, many families are also able to schedule their children for simultaneous lessons so you don’t have to wait for each one to take their turn.
· Performance Opportunities.
Recitals are held throughout the year, allowing students multiple performance opportunities. Performing in front of a live audience helps build self confidence and provides a goal for practicing. Many of our instructors also enter their students in music festivals, competitions and workshops throughout the year.
