Lynn Jabs President/Interim Treasurer , 2008 to present
Lynn Jabs joined the Cappella Board in 2006.  She resides in beautiful Gig Harbor with her husband Bryan, where she works at Northwest Mortgage Strategies.  She has also served on the board for Head Start with Kitsap Community Resource & Referral and is currently the President of Soroptimist International Gig Harbor.

Lynn loves giving back to the community.  She has sponsored a tree for the Festival of Tree's, supported the Central Kitsap High School Choir Boosters, Central Kitsap High School WASL, KCDCC Jefferson-Jackson fundraising dinner-auction, and Gig Harbor High School Athletics.  She has also served on the board for Head Start with Kitsap Community Resource & Referral.

While attending Portland Lutheran High School and Clackamas Community College she was part of the choral programs and played the flute and piccolo.  Lynn also attended Western Oregon State College in Monmouth, Oregon.

Reverend Heinz E. Malon, President Elect, 2007 to present
Chaplain Malon is a 1987 graduate of Excelsior University (BA in History) and Wartburg Theological Seminary (1993, Master of Divinity).  He was ordained a Pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and was commissioned as a Navy Chaplain in July 1994.  He served in the enlisted ranks for eight years prior to entering seminary in 1989.  After completion of Chaplain School (Basic Course) 1994 Chaplain Malon was assigned to NAS KEFLAVIK, Iceland as a staff chaplain.

In January 1997, he was assigned to USS ANZIO (CG 68) as the Command Chaplain.  During this tour he completed two deployments. In 1999, Chaplain Malon was selected to be one of four national chaplain recruiters by the Chief of Chaplains.  After completion of Officer Recruiting School he was assigned to COMNAVRECREG CENTRAL.  He completed a successful three and half-year tour with Navy Recruiting and in February 2003 reported to COMFLTACT CHINHAE, Republic of Korea.  He was responsible for religious ministry to all U.S. Navy personnel assigned to the Korean Peninsula and for the organization of Community Relations Projects for ships assigned to the SEVENTH FLEET visiting the Korean Peninsula.

His personal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal (three awards), the Navy Achievement Medal (2 awards), Navy Good Conduct Medal and the Army Good Conduct Medal.  Unit awards include the Battle "E", and the Meritorious Unit Commendation (two awards).  On 3 October 2006 Chaplain Malon retired from the Navy after 21 years of active duty service. On 18 October Pastor Malon accepted a call to Key Peninsula Lutheran Church and will began his service to the congregation on 15 November 2006.  He is married to Robin Winslow of Olympia, Washington and resides in Gig Harbor, WA with their son Raymond.

Laurie Jackley, Secretary, 2004 to present 
Laurie Jackley has been part of the Kitsap community since 1983, when she moved to Bremerton from Fullerton, California, after marrying her husband Brock.  Prior to that time, Laurie graduated from Fullerton College, California, with a Associate Degree in Fine Arts as well as California State University, Fullerton, CA, with a Bachelor Degree in Political Science.

Laurie and her husband have four children, including Brock's oldest daughter, Audra.  The youngest three have each has been part of the Cappella Choir program.  After attending Olympic College on a music scholarship and graduating with a AA degree, Linda, the oldest, will be entering the University of Las Vegas, NV, as a Junior in Vocal Performance.  Brianna, currently a junior at Central Kitsap High School, attends Olympic College full-time, as a Running Start student.  Brianna's highlight of her Cappella Choir experience was the choir's tour to New York City.    Brent is currently in fourth grade and studies the drum set as well as sings with Cappella Choirs.  He has been with Cappella Choirs since the age of five and continues to perform with Ragazzi, a boy's group in Cappella.

When not helping with Cappella Choir duties, fundraising, or transporting her children to their respective interests, Laurie is busy working at Dave's Loans and Guns, Jewelry Etc., Inc., which Laurie and her husband own and operate. She also enjoys performing with Lyrica, Ladies Chorale Ensemble of Puget Sound.

Laurie and Brock have been major contributors in time or money to other charities, including, Western Washington Performing Arts Center, Central Kitsap Theater (CSTOCK), Festival of Trees (Harrison Hospital), Central Kitsap High School Choir Boosters, CKHS Grad Nite, Olympic Aquatic Center, Soroptimist of Port Orchard, Rotary of Port Orchard, Kiwanis of Port Orchard, and the KCDCC Jefferson-Jackson fundraising dinner-auction.

Laurie also finds time to volunteer as Treasurer of the Central Kitsap High School PTSA, Math Olympiad Coach in the Central Kitsap School District, as well as Classroom Helper at Cougar Valley Elementary School.  She also serves as Vice-Chair and executive board member of the Kitsap County Democratic Central Committee.

John Killeen, Director, 2008 to present
John Killeen joined our board in March of 2008. John is a business owner in the Gig Harbor area and very involved in the community. He brings many years of business management and consulting experience with him. Having been a musician for most of his life he has a passion to pass on that legacy to up and coming Cappella performers.

John resides in Gig Harbor with his wife Gretchen and their two beautiful daughters Kelsey and Madison.
